We are the Julius'. We are mainly a cow/calf operation but we decided to buy some Spanish goats in the middle of 2015 to help clear our pastures of brush and weeds because we felt that spraying them with chemical was not our best option. And with buying the goats we also got to diversify our operation some. We have Sawyer nannies, Kensing/Weinheimer nannies, and Sawyer billies.
We chose spanish goats because they are more hardy than the boer goats. We had a handful of boer goats before we got our spanish and they could not get the job done. So we did our research on the different bloodlines of the spanish goats and decided to go with the Sawyer and Kensing and Weinheimers. We chose them because they are a ittle bigger structured goat and they were really just more eye appealing to us.
